Gas Detection Systems |
Dräger's point of view |
In
many industrial applications, safety is ensured around the clock by a fixed
gas detection system. Hazards can have several origins: the release of toxic
gases, oxygen deficiency or enrichment as well as the presence of
combustible gases and vapors. When detected at an early stage,
countermeasures can be initiated to protect personnel, workplaces and
equipment. |
Design Guidelines |
Dräger transmitters are designed to be used under the toughest conditions. Their wide environmental specifications (-40C to +65°C), overall protection against RFI, high vibration, shock resistance and corrosion resistant enclosures make them suitable for all kinds of applications. |
Dräger's take on approvals |
Dräger gas detection systems are not only designed to meet the requirements of international approval standards, but are submitted to the various agencies to obtain an instrument approval like ATEX, CENELEC, UL, CSA, etc. All of our instruments carry the CE mark for the industrial environment.

Dräger's Goal |
We are continuously striving to optimize the current technology and develop new, better sensor technologies. Regardless which sensor principle is applied (electrochemical, catalytic bead or infrared), DrägerSensors for monitoring oxygen, toxic or combustible gases are renowned worldwide for their consistently high quality. |
